Concerns of Police Survivors ( was organized in 1984 and has membership of over 37,000 survivors.  Survivors include spouses, children, parents, siblings, significant others, and affected co-workers of officers killed in the line of duty.  The NW Florida Chapter serves local survivors with counseling, support, scholarships, & survivor benefits to survivors in the 13 panhandle counties.

Combat Control Association ( is an organization that supports, promotes and honors Combat Controllers and provides scholarships, education and social activities to their families.  Combat Controllers are among the highest decorated airmen in the Military and their motto is “First In, Last Out!”

Air Force Enlisted Village (  is a nonprofit organization whose core mission is to provide a safe, secure home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Airmen. Located along the beautiful Emerald Coast of northwest Florida in Shalimar near Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field, apartments are available at Bob Hope Village, our independent living community, and at Hawthorn House, our assisted living and memory care residence located on the Bob Hope Village campus.
